The African Studies Institute maintains a library in Room 315 at its main offices in the Holmes/Hunter Building. The library is a specialized African Studies collection that includes various texts, videos, news reports and a collection of journal magazines on Africa. The collections within the ASI library come from material donations from ASI faculty and community supporters as well as ASI acquisitions too. The materials in the library have been catalogued and given call numbers with the assistance of a member of the Institute (Jackie Houston of the UGA Library). The updated catalogue will soon be available online.

Contact the ASI offices for information on checking out and using the library resources.
